Public Service Announcement
In observance of International Archives Day, the Center for National Documents and Records Agency (CNDRA) informs the public of the following activities in commemoration of this memorable day.
Amongst series of activities commemorating the day, CNDRA will between June 5th - June 9th stage the exhibition of historical materials and documents for the public and hundreds of students from JJ Roberts, Sis. Mary Lauren Brown School of Excellent and St. Peters Lutheran High School on 14th Street.
Others are the Bishop Mawueh Institute, the William V.S. Tubman High School and the S. D. A. High School on 12th Street in Sinkor.
On Friday, June 8th, CNDRA will stage a day long general clean-up campaign on its 12th Street compound.
On Saturday, June 9th, the celebration of the International Archives Day will begin with a grand parade led by the AFL marching Band.
The parade will begin from the Monrovia City Hall to the center’s 12th Street premises.
This year’s celebration is under the Theme: “Archives: Governance, Memory and Heritages” while the national them is: ‘Good Record Keeping promotes Good Governance, Transparency and Accountability’’.
