U.S. Embassy Officials Unveil Starlink at Liberia’s National Library
MONROVIA, Liberia — Officials of the United States Embassy near Monrovia have visited the National Public Library to officially unveil a Starlink internet service donated to the Library by SpaceX.
The visit took place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and was led by Sara Kauffman, Public Affairs Officer (PAO) at the U.S. Embassy, and Madison Fahnbulleh, American Spaces Coordinator.
The Starlink service was made available to the National Public Library through the recommendation and support of the U.S. Embassy, with SpaceX providing the equipment and service.
The initiative is intended to strengthen internet connectivity at the National Library and enhance access to digital information and educational resources for library users.
The engagement underscores the growing partnership between the U.S. Embassy and the Center for National Documents and Records Agency (CNDRA) in supporting the development and modernization of Liberia’s National Public Library.
The CNDRA has welcomed the initiative, describing it as an important step toward improving digital access, research opportunities, and information services for the public.
